The Metallurgical Tundish Metering Nozzle (also called sizing nozzle, bore nozzle, or Zirconia insert nozzle) is a critical flow control component installed at the bottom of a tundish in continuous steel casting. It precisely regulates the molten steel flow rate from the tundish into the mold.
Our nozzle features a press‑molded composite structure – a high‑density Zirconia core combined with an outer Alumina jacket. Unlike traditional cement‑connected nozzles, our press‑molded design eliminates the risk of steel breakout caused by cement joint erosion, significantly improving casting safety and nozzle service life.
