- Follow standard preheating curve to heat up the ladle sliding gate assembly slowly. Rapid heating will cause thermal shock and damage the zirconia slide plate prematurely.
- Arrange regular inspection on the wear degree of zirconia inserts after each batch of casting. Replace worn plates in time to guarantee stable molten steel flow control and casting quality.
