Our CNC machined Top Plate Nozzle System is a matched tundish sliding gate refractory specially designed for the Vesuvius flow control system in steel continuous casting. It consists of exchangeable upper nozzles and sliding lower nozzles, fully processed by precision CNC machining for tight dimensional tolerance and perfect assembly fit.

Long Service Life
The replaceable top-plate nozzles can reliably withstand up to 80 consecutive casting operations. Featuring a high-purity zirconia core, they resist molten steel erosion and slag penetration, reducing the frequency of nozzle replacements and minimizing production downtime.
Smooth Sliding
The lower sliding nozzles are manufactured using an optimized composite refractory material formulation and high-precision CNC grinding processes. During melt flow adjustment, they enable exceptionally smooth sliding, preventing sticking, flow fluctuations, and surface wear under prolonged high-temperature conditions.
Fully Compatible with the Vesuvius System
All dimensional parameters have been standardized to ensure a perfect match with the original Vesuvius top plate nozzle assemblies. They can be directly substituted without any modifications to existing equipment, offering simple installation and high interchangeability.

Optional Types: Single zirconia nozzle, press-molded composite nozzle (recommended mainstream cost-effective type, no cement connection, zero leakage hazard).
