• Pre-installation Inspection: Verify that the nozzle profile aligns properly with the ladle interface. Remove debris and slag deposits from the joint area.
• Standard Baking: Dry and bake according to recommended temperature and duration to prevent thermal cracking caused by rapid heating.
• Periodic Inspection: During furnace shutdown maintenance, inspect the inner bore for wear and scaling. Promptly remove slag deposits to extend service life.
• Replacement Strategy: Recommend replacement when significant inner bore deformation or unstable flow occurs to prevent compromising ingot quality.
