
Zirconia Nozzle For Continuous Casting
Our company manufactures various zirconia sizing nozzles suitable for continuous casting of steel. These nozzles are available either individually or with co-molded high aluminum jackets. In the past, sizing nozzles of single zirconia material were often supplied, but in recent years, many customers prefer composite nozzles for the purpose of cost saving. The composite nozzle produced by our company includes two types: fire cement connection and pressing molding. The composite nozzle connected by cement is abandoned by more and more companies because of the risk of steel breakout. In contrast, in the manufacturing process of the press-formed composite nozzle, there is no need to use cement pointing, but inserts and press jackets are used. This manufacturing method makes the whole system very reliable without the risk of steel leakage between the inner part and the outer shell.
